Former FIVE Hotels chef launches Indian dark kitchen brand Curry Castle
Indian chef Tavish Bhasin has just launched a homegrown cloud kitchen brand, Curry Castle, showcasing traditional Indian recipes with a modern twist. The brand operates under his umbrella company Dark Knight Hospitality.
Bhasin, who started his F&B career in Mumbai, worked as a sous chef at FIVE Palm Jumeirah before overseeing all culinary operations at Five Jumeirah Village. Curry Castle sees the culmination of Bhasin’s years of experience working at some of the world’s best restaurants.
The chef sat down with Caterer Middle East to chat about his move into the dark kitchen sphere and how Curry Castle stands out from the other “heavy and greasy” Indian delivery brands.
